A Free Week of Dance

Not one class — a whole week. Take as many classes as you like, in any style, at your dancer's level. No commitment and nothing to cancel afterward.

Gold Teal

Already have a ticket?

If one of our teachers gave you a gold ticket, or one of our dancers gave you a teal ticket, start here instead — not with the button below. It takes the same amount of time, it makes sure the person who invited you gets credit, and it gets you $25 off your first month's tuition when you enroll.

No ticket? That's completely fine — the free week is the same either way. Keep reading.

Claim your free week

Tell us a little about your dancer and we'll send your trial pass by email. Check your junk folder if it doesn't arrive in a few minutes — that's usually where it is.

Already claimed your week?

Then you are done here — no need to claim again. Head to the class schedule, register for the classes you would like to try, and choose the trial option when you do. That is where you will sign our policies. Then just come and check in at the front desk.

How it works

  1. 1
Claim your pass and sign the waiver

Takes about five minutes. You'll set up a free parent account and sign our studio waiver — the same one every family signs. We'll email your trial pass once you're done.

  2. 2
    Pick your classes

Browse the class schedule, then register for each class you would like to try and choose the trial option. Anything that fits your dancer's age and your family's week is fair game. Not sure which level? Email us and we'll help — guessing is not required.

  3. 3
    Come dance

Check in at the front desk with your pass. Then take as many classes as you want that week. Your waiver needs to be signed before your dancer can take the floor, so it is worth doing at home rather than in the lobby.

What to expect

  • Your dancer does not need experience. Beginners are the point, not the exception. Every level 1 class assumes nobody has done this before.
  • Wear something they can move in. Leggings or shorts and a t-shirt is fine for a first class. Hair out of the face. We'll tell you about shoes if you enroll.
  • Arrive ten minutes early. It gives your dancer time to find the room and meet the teacher before class starts, which makes a real difference on day one.
  • Parents are welcome to stay. There's seating in the lobby. For our youngest classes you may be in the room with them.
  • Sign the waiver before you come. Every dancer needs one on file, trial or not. It's part of setting up your account, and doing it at home saves you standing at the front desk while class starts.
  • Nothing happens automatically. The trial ends on its own. We won't enroll you in anything.

After your trial

If you'd like to keep going, come see us at the front desk and we'll get your dancer enrolled — it takes a couple of minutes and you won't have to work anything out on your own.

Prefer to do it yourself? You already have a parent account. It was created when you claimed your trial, so there's no need to register again. Go to the parent portal, choose Forgot Password, and use the email address you gave us — that lets you set a password and enroll from there.

Registering a second time creates a duplicate account, which splits your dancer's history — and if someone referred you, it can cost them their credit. If you're not sure which email you used, email us and we'll check.

Questions we get a lot

Which class is right for my child?

Start with their age, then the days your family is free. If you're unsure about a numbered level, email hello@509collective.com and we'll point you somewhere. If a dancer turns out to be misplaced, we move them in the first few weeks at no charge.

What does it cost if we enroll?

One Full Season class works out to roughly $1,050–$1,200 across the year, all in. Shorter session classes are $255. Full details are on our tuition & fees page — we'd rather you see the whole number up front.

Do we have to commit to the whole year?

No. Session classes run in separate Fall, Winter, and Spring blocks, so you can enroll one season at a time. Full Season classes run September to June and finish with our spring showcase.

Can adults try a class too?

Yes — see our adult classes. Adult classes are drop-in, so you can just come once.

Do we have to sign anything?

Yes — one waiver, signed once, covering your dancer for the trial and for anything after it. You'll do it when you set up your parent account, before you come in. Every family at the studio has one on file, so this isn't a trial-only step.

What if the class we want is full?

Join the waitlist. We watch waitlists closely, and when enough dancers are waiting for the same class we look at whether we can add a section. Telling us which days and times work for you helps us decide.

Still deciding?

Email hello@509collective.com or call the studio. A real person will answer, and "I'm not sure what my kid would like" is a completely normal place to start.
